To provide the student with an understanding of the international marketing environment and to familiarize him/her with market entry strategies, international marketing channels, pricing in the world markets and the administration of international marketing within the firm. Developing understanding of the international marketing environment is of basic importance and involves familiarizing the student with the cultural, economic, and political legal environment of a country to develop cross-cultural understanding early in the semester. The necessity to understand the environment is vital to develop a credible marketing plan or to devise an effective marketing strategy.
The core purpose of the course is to expose the student to the theory and practice associated with efficient and effective management of international/ global corporations.
