IRS 335A: TERRORISM-THREAT AND RESPONSE(JAN 2021)

This course, grounded in the field of international relations, provides a theoretical and empirical understanding and explanation of international terrorism. It will identify various analytical approaches to the study of terrorism: identifying terrorist groups, reviewing terrorist tactics, and examining the various inter-governmental responses to reduce or control the incidence of international terrorism. The course will examine these dimensions of international terrorism with globalization and its effects as the backdrop.
