BMS107A JANUARY 2021 MEDICAL PHYSIOLOGY II

Purpose of the Course

The course is designed for the student to acquire knowledge in the body functions. The student will learn how the normal body functions are accomplished by the different systems of the body and relate to what happens when these systems fail; pathology. The course involves theory, laboratory and tutorials.

Course description

The course is designed for the student to acquire knowledge in the body functions, a continuation of the study of the human body system, their functions, adaptation of, and pathology . The course is purposed at helping the learner to relate the human body structure with the functions and processes that occur in the structure. The student  learns about  the normal body functions and differentiate the normal from abnormal functions due to disease, malfunction or other conditions acquired or inherited; thus being able to identify the pathophysiology that may result to non-functional systems.
