This course surveys the general principles of health and fitness. It focuses on the role of exercise and nutrition towards physical fitness. It will cover concepts of exercise physiology, nutrition, and physical activity. Students will be introduced to wellness, weight management and developing a regular exercise program. The course will examine stress management through diagnosis of stress factors and necessary behavioral change. Finally, the course will equip students with basic first aid knowledge and skills for safety and survival in case of emergency.
